I saw an interesting sequence in a movie a few years back. A father in his sixties was meeting his son for the first time in his life. After the initial waves of emotions settled down, the father asked, “So, what do you do?” The son replied, “I am in advertising and…” “Wait!”, the father stopped him, “ I didn’t ask you what do you do for living. I asked you what do you do for yourself!” This question is haunting me since then. I replied to this question all my life with how I make money. Every single time. And I still do it today. Because I am afraid that people would make fun of me if I say that I sometimes dance in front of mirror when no one is watching me. But I think I should stop telling people what they want to hear and start telling what I believe in and what I want to say. I think it’s time I should be honest to myself.
